Hopefully, you will enjoy the updates we implemented over the weekend. All of the major updates have been completed, but we are still making other tweaks. This is a list of some of the changes; more to follow.

• Changed DGS Logo
• Change font and colors within the website theme
• Easier to read content pages
• The menu bar is always available at the top of the page
• The menu bar will change for logged-in members for easier access to member items
• Calendar page – Members logged in will see the special Zoom webinar registration links for members only
• Calendar page – Non-members will display the Eventbrite link to register for the webinars
• and others….

We’ve just introduced a newly expanded database of more than 1,000 cemeteries in Delaware with an interactive map and a guide. All of these resources are available to everyone–members and nonmembers.

Delaware Cemetery Updates – 08/17/2022

The Cemeteries in Delaware page is in the process of being updated. Bob Eckman (Website volunteer and DGS member) has created a database of Delaware Cemeteries. Bob has been working on finding additional cemeteries that were not in the original data, removing duplicates, and documenting each one. In addition, he has been referencing the cemetery on the Find-A-Grave website and adding the reference link and a link to google maps.

Update: The table now includes 839 entries. Included are links to Find-a-Grave and google maps where available. This update also includes a notes field where appropriate.

The new table is a work in progress and will be updated occasionally.

Delaware Cemetery Updates

We have a development table created by Bob Eckman (Website volunteer and DGS member). Bob has been working on finding additional cemeteries that were not in the original data and documenting them. In addition, he has been referencing the cemetery on the Find-A-Grave website and adding the reference link and a link to google maps.

The new table is a work in progress and will be updated occasionally. When completed this new table will replace the current table.
