About Us
The Delaware Genealogical Society is a nonprofit volunteer organization that encourages and supports genealogical research. Our primary focus is on Delaware ancestry, but we also provide general educational programs and assist members with all their family research.
DGS was founded in 1977 with about 40 charter members and has grown to almost 400 members from about 40 states today. DGS is a member of the National Genealogical Society.
Every year DGS publishes an annual report. Take a look at the report for the most recent fiscal year to learn more about us.
